Cheryl Ann Byers, age 67, passed away peacefully on the morning of February 3rd, after a heroic fight against cancer. Cheryl is survived by her devoted brother, Joseph Byers (Joellyn), many cousins, and a league of heartbroken friends too many to count. She was predeceased by her father, Berckman Byers and her mother, Anne Byers (Gleason) of Visitation parish; as well as her sister, Patricia A. Gleason in September. Visitation at Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St. Orland Park, IL 60462, will be held from 3 – 8 pm on Friday, February 17th, and from 10:30 to 11:30 on Saturday, February 18th followed by a short service and procession to Mt.
