Darvia M. Leonard (Rietman), age 89 passed away June 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Leonard; loving mother of Douglas Leonard. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Sabrina. Darvia went to Barnard Elementary School in Chicago and graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1949. Darvia attended The Art Institute of Chicago. Darvia worked as a fashion model in her teens and 20s. Darvia later worked as a CFO for her and her husband’s construction company. A long-time parishioner of The Lutheran Church of The Good Shepard in Palos Heights, IL.
