On March 26, 2022 Estelleta M. Phelps (nee Roberson), beloved of family and friends, passed from this earthly life into the comfort of Her Lord and Savior. On February 25, 2022 Mrs. Phelps celebrated her 98th birthday with pizza, birthday cake, gifts and many cards and calls from those who love her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 71 years, Lloyd Phelps, and by her dear brothers Jewell, Willis and Dwight Roberson. She is mourned and celebrated by her children Mary (husband Steven) Bender, Linda (husband Chuck) Handley, precious grandchildren Paige Handley, Carl Handley (wife Amy Brundridge), dear sister Vanitta Hammonds, brother Charles (wife Ethel Lynn) Roberson, sister-in-law Virginia Roberson, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mrs. Phelps was a faithful, longtime member of First Baptist Church of Burbank.
