Geraldine Lois "Geri" Warning, cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Hands; sister of Richard Hands. Geri was a dear friend to many people and many people loved her. She was a loving, kind, caring, dependable and cheerful person with an extremely high positive attitude with a vivacious personality who enriched so many lives. Her love for the Lord Jesus Christ was supremely evident in her life. She left us so quickly without saying goodbye, but we all know she is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Masks and proper social distancing are required. Geri was an amazing example of the Bible verse in John 23:35, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Geri shared her wide smile and warm heart with everybody she met.

I knew Geri for almost 20 years. I met her at Ashburn Baptist Church. She always had a smile on her face. You could tell that she loved the Lord. I will miss her, but I know I will see her again. Renee Voss

Hey, Aunt Geri,
I've loved you from afar.

Geri was my friend for over 70 years. Although I moved to Florida, we either wrote, sent a text or called at least every few days. We have lost a very special and loving friend. She loved sending magazine articles and anything pertaining to dogs because she loved my Casper. She loved my mom.
She loved life. She loved serving God. My dear friend, I will miss you so very much. My heart hurts.

I knew Geri for many years through Ashburn church. She was always a very happy person and tried to help and uplift others. I had a great smile and laugh. Her memories will be cherished and she will be missed.

Oh my heart hurt when I learned I wouldn’t see that giant smile and feel your welcoming heart each time we met, but, next time we meet will be on that golden shore walking with jesus, looking in his face, love you Geri my friend!
