Mildred Onate Laskey was born August 21, 1939 in Cook County, Illinois to Jesse and Rose Onate. She married Kenneth Laskey and had three children. She worked as a data entry clerk for The Salvation Army headquarters in Chicago, Illinois for 25 years. She retired and moved to Macon, Georgia where she resided for the past 18 years. She is survived by her three children, Dwayne (Lisa) Laskey of Hoffman Estates, Illinois , Denise (Greg) Zbylut of Ellenboro, North Carolina, and Dean (Jan) Laskey of Macon, Ga., sister, Aliene Mannion of Orland Park, Illinois . She also leaves behind six grandsons and three great grandchildren. Millie was a kind and generous soul who loved her Lord and her family and met no strangers. Her loss will be felt from Georgia to Illinois. Visitation Thursday October 27, 2022 at 11 A.M. until time of Funeral Service 12 Noon at Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St. Orland Park, IL 60462.
