William B. Buckler, age 96, US Army Air Corps Veteran, beloved husband of the late Theresa E. Buckler for 68 years; loving father of Denise (Stephen) Custer, Janice (Bruce) Baldridge, Diane (the late David) Palagi, William (Cathy) Buckler, Mary Lou (Kostas) Dovantzis, Donna Finley and the late James (Jacqui) Buckler; devoted grandfather of 19; dear great-grandfather of 18. Bill was raised in Roseland and graduated from Pullman Tech. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps at the age of 17. He served in occupied Okinawa during WWII. After serving, he worked at EMD for 40 years and retired as Plant Engineer. Bill was a faith-filled man who valued time spent with his large and loving family.
